About Me

Geri Charlton – MARCH (Member of the Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists)

ARCH Colonic Hydrotherapist

About Me

The decision to pursue a career as a Colonic Hydrotherapist was inspired by personally witnessing the significant health benefits this treatment can provide. A close family member experienced persistent faecal impaction, and despite numerous consultations with their GP, found lasting relief following a single Colonic Hydrotherapy session. This transformative outcome motivated me to explore the field further. As someone who manages IBS, I have discovered that regular colonic treatments are highly effective in alleviating my symptoms.
My passion for supporting others led me to dedicate myself to rigorous study and professional training, enabling me to help individuals seeking similar relief. I had the privilege of training with Roger Groos, renowned as one of the co-founders of ARCH, whose expertise and mentorship were invaluable in my development.

Living in the small village of Rhode, in between Bridgwater and North Petherton and I am easily accessible from the M5. Gut Feeling provides a calm and holistic experience using soothing music and essential oils, within a therapeutic environment. I operate with strict
hygiene protocol, and all equipment is of course sterile.
Understanding that you may be anxious or nervous, I will aim to put you at ease. Please do ask any questions prior to your treatment should you have any.  I request that you please complete the questionnaire prior to your visit; although this is extensive, it will really help
me to build a picture of you and your health.

Why Choose an ARCH Therapist?

ARCH (The Association of Registered Colonic Hydrotherapists is the UK’s longest established and leading Association for Colon Hydrotherapists. When choosing an ARCH-registered therapist you are assured of the highest standards of safety and competence.

ARCH has been setting standards in the practice and the training of Colon Hydrotherapy for over 35 years. Members go through rigorous checks including a DBS before they are added to our register. They must

demonstrate suitable and recognised training and have extensive experience in a clinical setting from a medical or complementary practice. Furthermore, ARCH is the only Colonic Association recognised and regulated by the independent Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the only government- backed regulator in the industry.

ARCH is run by members, for members, creating a dynamic community of support, education, promotion and interaction that drives our industry forward. ARCH therapists are kept up-to-date with the latest scientific and technical information and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a prerequisite for membership renewal.

Maintaining the highest standards for Colon Hydrotherapy

All ARCH members abide by our comprehensive code-of-practice which covers every aspect of the treatment, from the equipment used to the facilities available in the treatment room. Our members agree to maintain the highest standards of competency and care to ensure your safety, protect your dignity and provide a quality treatment experience.

ARCH conducts regular inspections to ensure that our members uphold the standards laid down in the code-of-practice.

This is something you can discuss with your ARCH therapist and health insurance provider.
